Are you prepared to move somewhere if you lost your house? What are your possible living arrangements? Do you have enough money in savings to get you through the move or rebuild?
With out friends we would have been far worse off. I hope you have done some "prepping" in this regard. I am sure people who lived miles in from the coast never thought they could be damaged by a storm ... Katrina changed that!

Hello Casey. Good call on being ready for a bigger life changing event like moving, loosing house, etc. Saving and prepping are so very important.
On another note, I'm new to this forum and am having a hard time getting used to it so forgive me if this isn't the right place to ask this, but I'm trying to by some bulk grain/wheat in Anchorage and can't find any information. Some time ago there was a referance to Azure Standard group in Anch. but can't for the life of me find them. Have you heard of them?
